If you're wondering why a Foundation was created specifically to support Contra Costa Animal Services. Here's why...

A female cat can go into her first heat as early as 4 months old, and can be fertile until age 10.

Every day, beloved pets are brought to Contra Costa Animal Services (CCAS) in Martinez as “found stray animals”. The CCAS team treats these animals with high priority to find their owners and to reunite the family with the pet.
