Who We Are

We are animal lovers who also support Contra Costa Animal Services as volunteers and staff.  We provide resources to enable Contra Costa Animal Services to better support our pet owner community and unhoused pets in our community, and to provide enrichment and support to the animals in their care.

What We Do...

  • Provide resources to amplify CCAS support for community pets and their owners

  • Assist CCAS in the support and enrichment of animals in their care

  • Educate the community about CCAS services

  • Partner with the community in support of CCAS, through donations, and project support as volunteers

Why We Do It

  • The CCAS Foundation exists solely to support the mission of CCAS in areas that are not fully funded or already fully supported by CCAS staff and volunteers.

  • Enable CCAS to provide high quality care to animals in our community, and while in their custody, by removing financial or other resource barriers.
